Pros

Every day is new and exciting. Great management team in Salt Lake that knows there stuff and how to help me hit my goals. I tend to love to work and I need an environment that pays me for what I put in, XPO is that place for me. Everyday I come to work excited to put in my best effort, the days fly by and when I am done my checks reflect the effort I put in.

Cons

We need more people that will come to work give it their all and expect to make a 6 figure income, when they do so. In this industry you can do that if you believe you can. We need more people that believe that to lift everyone up.

Pros

You do not have to work weekends and there is a free gym. That is the only positive. Nothing else is worth it.

Cons

Pay is an absolute joke. 30 k a year. The commission is confusing and for a reason...there is little speak of at all! People who are doing "good" here make like 200$ in commission a month. You will lose customers as fast or as fast as you gain them. We cannot cover a homeless man with a blanket. The policies change every 5 minutes. The job turnover is higher than Derrick Rose on the fast break. Just a crappy crappy place to work. They will hire you if you have a pulse and no murders on record.

Pros

Perfect opportunity to build your own book of business without being micromanaged. Definite learning curve for those entering into the corporate scene so take full advantage of all the skills you can learn. Great opportunity to learn so much about sales and the freight industry.

Cons

As with any start-up, there will be plenty of changes without little notice or regard. But the expectation to "roll with punches" is unacceptable. The sooner we realize that good sales reps don't make good managers or "decision makers" the better. Although the company is outlined to have a position responsible for each turn of every transaction, most responsibility, and blame, will fall on the shoulders of the account manager. This can be extremely stressful but will definitely teach you to make sound judgment calls for each and every business move.
