Pros

Conditions are quite good - at least according to the multitudes of fake reviews posted by XPO Human Resources to inflate the average company rating. Look carefully at those 5 star reviews - they really seem to value "drive and a fast-pace environment", and they love talking about things "getting better after consolidation". I mean, you need something after multiple waves of layoffs, gutting benefits to be actually worse than the open market in some cases, cutting earned bonuses (1 week before payout - merry Christmas to you too Brad.), and chopping off anything of value to inflate their earnings profile.

Cons

I've seen complains about the culture, but frankly there is no culture. XPO is not an organic company that developed by doing well in its industry. It was created by the acquisition and consolidation of other companies by corporate investors. Even the name "XPO" was selected because CEO Brad Jacobs liked where it showed on the ticker. This is important to note, because to the company employees are not people. You are resources; cogs to be manipulated or replaced at the whims of those in charge. I know this is the same for many other companies, but keep in mind XPO was created by a group of ruthless greedy capitalists. Upper management operates with no greater cause, value for human life, or moral limitation.

Pros

Very good leadership with superior strategic vision. Strong technology platforms. Growth is creating opportunities for employees.

Cons

Some growing pains associated with the integration of acquired companies and organic growth.

Pros

ZERO. If you enjoy managers telling you that you need to "take a Xanax and get laid" then this is the place for you. Seriously, I can't even make up the things that go on in the Charlotte office. Take a minute to talk to a current account manager or carrier rep if you don't believe me.

Cons

IF you are even considering XPO as an option--look elsewhere. This company is modern day slavery. They're one step away from chaining you to a desk and nailing a phone to your ear. Disregard ALL of the good, "honest" reviews. Brad Jacobs (CEO) sent an email to his "club" asking that they write great reviews on XPO. They're also switching up the already horrible commission structure to make the company look better to investors but take away money from the employees who are the backbone of the company. You may think you'd be happy to have any job right now but just wait... A "career" would be more promising at Walmart.
