Not sure where they got most of their upper management. Most are not engaged and are not involved in decision making or direction; seems like they just draw a paycheck. Its a good thing they have employees who work.

Xactware was a great place to work for years, but everything seems to be going downhill overall. Insurance was great, but is now more expensive for worse insurance coverage. SO many people have left over the last year, and leadership has adopted a "no war in Bah Sing Se" type mindset, ignoring that they're losing their best people, not rehiring any positions or doing anything to try and be more competitive. As a result those left are stuck with the same projects and deadlines without hope of replenishing the resources they once had (which does wonders for morale). The entire product group is absolute chaos, most of the talent in that department left after the re-org. And those left are either there due to their affinity to the new toxic management style, or just got hired in and are trying to figure out how to do their jobs still. It feels like engineering is stuck on an island of their own because of all this, and the new culture coming down from senior leadership has a "mandatory overtime is the norm" sort of vibe.
