Great people. Opportunities for learning anything from Excel to how to manage your time better. Flexibility for family situations.

Cons

Upper Management is only focused on meeting reveue outlooks and metrics for bonuses. Little focus is on the employee. Diversity in upper management is slim. Increased workload with no support.

Pros

Management do show appreciation of good work Management are respectful of their subordinates Very friendly work atmosphere and having an onsite canteen generally means that group lunches are the norm. You do end up building genuine friendships with your colleagues (strengthened by after work drinks and nights out in town).

Cons

Could take a while for progression to take place Very bureaucratic so a lot of inefficient work streams exist Slightly antiquated mode of working (then again we are talking printers!)

low payment slow process in promotion few pay rise opportunities slow to change performance measurement system is no clear no permanent positions available sometimes
