Pros

Exposure to Interesting technologies keeps employment refreshing. The benefits package is still above middle tier. There is no clock to punch, and many sales and operations jobs offer a reasonable amount of individual freedom to plan your own day as long as you keep the primary objective in mind.

Cons

Vertical advancement in the customer-facing operations type jobs is very lethargic for most employees. Compensation does not keep pace with the cost of living or inflation.

Pros

It's a job. Six weeks vacation. Benefits are better than nothing. Available training.

Cons

No pay raises over 2% and no cost of living adjustment since 1997. Oh, the 2% pay raise is for exceptional performers. Managers have no clue regarding what's going on as they're burdened with data analysis and statistics. Many managers are very, very unqualified. Often, overwhelming work load. Terrible recognition program for performance. (almost insulting) Outsource critical parts ordering process to overseas. Customer support is outsourced and drives customers crazy. They don't pay attention to internal surveys. Poor mandatory holiday and weekend work compensation.
