Pros

no problem taking time off, vacations, flex hours, holidays, etc. very good people to work with at the working level.

Cons

massive bureaucracy between product development, manufacturing, marketing, and sales organizations horrible medical benefits 401K/retirement benefits almost non-existent terrible first-line management in certain organizations. Little employee respect. no profit sharing at the working level. No bonus. No stock. No stock growth for the past 10 years.

Fair managment as long as you produce. Good benefits. Very process oriented so if you like doing things your way then it might not be a good match.

Cons

Salaries could be higher. Better adjustment for regional cost of living. There are corporate pay scales and where you live doesn't matter.
