      Pros

      If you are desperate to keep lights on, then work with them. I was placed at Ford and all you are is a body. Your ideas don't matter and you are basically a cheap labor.

      Cons

      The way most of the body shops work is that you apply to them and they present you resume to their clients. If a client is interested, they led the bodyshop know and then the body shop hires you. You remain employed with the body shop until the client needs you. They may hire you with a salary or a hourly basis. Benefits are optional and reduce the rate.

      Basic benefits like health insurance and HSA and 401K without employer matching

      Cons

      Doesn't have a great network and cannot place the employees in new projects in timely manner.
