Pros

Very limited, not worth mentioning. The only good thing is that quite a lot of engineers at lower level are good and there's a lot you can learn from each other.

Cons

A year ago, Xoriant was a pretty good place to work at. But then, the COO changed and things turned around. 1. Tremendous cost cutting. (What for? Not that there was any significant spending earlier) 2. Change in policies. (Pro micro-management) 3. Excessive hiring. (Not sure if there are sufficient projects for the new hires as you can find a lot of skilled senior engineers on bench) 4. The infrastructure they have can't support their population of employees. They now have a new office. But that is going to get crowded as well. All you can see in their offices are cubicles, cubicles, meeting rooms, again cubicles. It's a frustrating environment as there's nothing else to do. 5. The non-technical staff is pretty average. Your issues will go unresolved for days (sometimes months). Any conversation you have with them is mostly going to be unsatisfying. 6. Some tech-leads are no good. They are in the team with barely any contribution. Zero motivaiton, Zero knowledge sharing from them. They act like a pseudo manager. (That's where the cost cutting should be.) 7. Some managers are good. But nowadays there seems to be a lot of politics and bureaucracy. No transparency in the system at all which they once used to boast about. 8. Leave policy is quite pathetic. 9. The management doesn't trust employee and thus increased the working hours. 10. In a time where IT firms are moving away from having a dress code, Xoriant introduced one. That too, a displeasing one (Not just my opinion) There are far too many cons one could list here. The bottom line is, Xoriant is transforming into a run of the mill service based company which doesn't value its employee much.
