Biggest disapointment of my 44 years of service

Pros

Stable job. Close to home, no travel time. Day shift and 40+ hours a week work. Union Shop

Cons

No pension plan and took away previous year of pension with contract. Pay scale dropped to 70's wage. Two tier pay scale could mean $5.00 hour difference in pays. Code of conduct for management is a joke. Management protect their own. Xylem/Sensus employees have the lowest moral since the sale.

Pros

Actually employed by sensus (a xylem brand). Great work life balance, great coworkers, and challenging work.

Cons

There is some tension between groups that is getting worked out. It's not awful, but there is definitely work to be done to abusive a "same team" mindset.
