A manufacturing company that thinks it needs to be like Google or Facebook
Pros
Decent pay Flexible work Middle of the road benefits - not terrible, but not the greatest Excellent 401k match, with Roth option Good company mission
Cons
Highly knowledgeable managers were being replaced by people with less experience than the people they managed due to connections and not actual qualifications or management ability, which lead to teams with absentee managers. Some parts of the company are cliques, more like a college frat house than a group of professionals. Nearly ZERO professional development - almost no training, no conferences, no certification assistance Many groups are chronically understaffed, so long-standing issues and problems either take forever to fix or remain for years. Offering assistance then gets pushback because those teams go into turf protection mode.
