The higher ups around here treat newer employees like assets. Whenever they talked about clients, it always felt like this would be an auction where we would be auctioned off.
You could be required to move to a new place anytime.
Odd working/meeting hours (since most of the development is back in India).
There are some leads and managers who would include themselves into your work even if they are not a part of the project. They would then nitpick things and want things done in their way. Also, there are people with more than five years of experience who do not understand concepts of nanoservices, RESTful APIs, etc.
No clear communication structure, vague statements, nobody knows who to contact for anything specific, sometimes even HRs don't reply.
Holidays (even Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.) are taken off of your PTO.
