Pros
Pay isn’t too bad and the people in middle management are there to help you personally and professionally if you want them to be involved.
Cons
Mainly long 12-hour shift work with a piece of the traditional Saturday and Sunday weekend taken away by work. If you’re used to long shifts, this is ideal for someone who does not have kids to take care or emergencies to tend to. Not a lot of room for absences without messing up someone else’s weekend.
