Pros
IN 30 years i had no problem,and I must say I loved my job! I made good money and i made lifelong friends with management and other drivers! 3 million miles of safe productivity!
Cons
I am sorry to say that the last two or three years of tenure I watched my once strong local 407 fall into the pocket of the company and our contract and all agreements fall to the wayside! I felt I would try to stop the erosion of all the hard work my brothers and sisters before me did to create a good work place for us, only to have a Labor man from the company lie and the union stand by him and against me! I got set up in an altercation and fired in september of 2015 and proved my innocence in november and got my job back! Union brothers were proved to make false statements but never disiplined !
