      Went through the change from Roadway to YRC

      Pros

      It was great at the time it was just Roadway. They had great Ops Management, HR/LR Professionals and a fantastic training Department.

      Cons

      When YRC (Yellow Freight) got involved the entire company methodology changed. I got out of there before many of the changes but it will not work.

      Pros

      Corporate Headquarters. Good health benefits. Senior management means well, but when conversations begin with "I'm not a racist, but..." you know you are about to hear something chilling.

      Cons

      Diversity of thought, look, lifestyle, and culture is discouraged. New ideas and technology are threatening. Systems are not integrated and much work is done just to "keep on truckin" but never moving forward. No raises for years, and none in sight makes for a demotivated workforce. The morale is swirling in an abyss. No 401K match. Bullying and name calling is practiced at all levels.
