You may get a lot of resting in this company without income.

Cons

In Canada all the trucks are belong to owner operators. That means you either drive with the owner or with another company driver. Do you know what is it like driving with the owner? It's impossible to drive along and no chance to become an owner in the company. All the job YRC took is to distribute goods from US, you got no job if no loads arriving from US. The long haul manager who manages drivers is definitely a jerk. The salary to way too low.

- Morale is very low. Everyone wishes they could be working for another company - Team work is non-existent. - Management is unable to manage. Only members of management left are those who cannot get a management job somewhere else. Managers are notorious for playing favorites and having their little group of "Golden Boys" and treating everyone else like crap. - Most teamster employees give no effort towards their jobs and work tirelessly to destroy the company they work for. - There is no growth or future for this company and all the employees know it. Most are just trying to put in their time until they can retire or find a better job.
