Pros

The benefits are great--lots of PTO and vacation time. Good health insurance.

Cons

Extremely emotionally abusive supervision. Ironically reminiscent of the cycle of abuse in an intimate relationship. No accountability. They do not value their advocates and many, if not most, are miserable there but afraid to speak up due to potential consequences. Micromanaging and controlling & lots of gaslighting.

Pros

Pay and benefits are decent, but that’s how they keep people.

Cons

Extremely emotionally abusive supervisors that bully, gaslight, manipulate employees. There is no system in place for employees to report abusive behavior by supervision and no accountability whatsoever. I’ve seen multiple people working here have mental breakdowns causing them to have to go on emergency paid medical leave and/or enter intensive therapy/treatment. Behavior of supervisors toward advocates is ironically reminiscent of the dynamics of an abusive intimate relationship.
