good benefits but certain managers create a very toxic work environment
Pros
health insurance is unbeatable Contribute 5%, they match 10% pto/sick/flex equates to roughly 4-5 weeks a year, plus weeklong recess between Christmas and new year University managers collaborate with you for weekly coverage (appts, etc)
Cons
-there is no collaboration because two direct managers and it feels like the clinical team is stuck in the middle -one manager controls your schedule but does not communicate changes with your actual university manager -you are asked to change your schedule frequently via text and that text can come off hours or on weekends, there are no boundaries -some management is micromanaging, unapproachable, hostile and reactive which creates a toxic work environment. -they strive to leverage our clinical skills and send us to multiple facilities on the daily, but it takes away from our collaboration with the coordinators/PIs when we are assigned as leads for certain studies -fails to incorporate time needed for office work, instead will send you to another unit -parking is $180/month -benefits are based on percentile-meaning if you get a yearly merit increase, your monthly premiums on your health insurance will increase (wow)
