Pros

The ONLY good things about working at Valleybrook especially were the coworkers and getting to help others.

Cons

Where do I start? I got ZERO training whatsoever. The manager, well first one, would tell lies about other coworkers or if a coworker came to her in confidence she would tell other coworkers everything they said. They do not genuinely care about their residents, just money. While working there they went through a huge change in management as well as multiple people quitting. While going through that change I was the only person in front office. I was doing the responsibilities of two oas, helping out the slas tremendously, as well as doing multiple managerial duties. I was told while I worked there that I was being trained to become an sla, when a position came open, I then applied for it. I got the interview and the manager had told me I got the job and then I heard nothing else. I then emailed her and cc the rvp. I was then met with an emailed back saying that I didn’t fit the requirements and a phone call stating that the rvp was mad at her for giving me the job and she had to tell me I didn’t get it. They were also hiring for the other oa position while I worked there and I realized they were hiring from 18-16 when I was making 16. So, I went to the rvp about it and he told me I didn’t deserve a raise. Which with everything I was doing I knew that I did. There is most definitely things i’m missing, but these few things are major things that made me quit working for Yes!Communities.
