Pros

It is a union position, pay is considerably higher than comparable positions. Opportunity to do some good for people.

Cons

Let's check the YesCare mission statement (from their website): "YesCare’s primary mission is to optimize long-run cost savings..." If you find this priority inspiring and congruent with your reasons for becoming an LSW, you've found the right place.

Pros

Pay is ok. Not worth what they want you to do

Cons

Nurses are rude and not helpful, very territorial, gossiping and they have favorites. No one really wants to teach you anything and most of them have an attitude. You will not build on Clinical skills, you will be put in harms way. You will also witness a lot of unethical nurse behavior. Administration is also unethical, rude and unprofessional.
