Pros

Employees looking to gain career skills in the medical device industry can learn a lot from working here. This organization currently manufactures Class I and II medical devices and distributes prescription drugs.

Cons

The amount of work that falls on most all employees is baffling. Typically a single person runs the entire department for their business unit. For a company that sells its products globally, there is simply too much work for one person to do at any given time. Pushing product out the door is top priority, while quality of the work is only an afterthought. The organization is constantly in a state of emergency damage control. Stagnant wages; no promotions, merit increases, or growth opportunities. You might see a small bonus each year, but only after headquarters threatens your business unit with withholding your bonus due to your unit’s inability to meet their arbitrary performance metrics. No career growth. I have only seen employees who work closely with headquarters execs receive promotions. High turnover rate. Low morale.

Pros

Beautiful office with an open concept.

Cons

The salary is very low for the work load you're expected to handle.
