Best Working Environment, Well Managed Firm
Pros
1. Best working environment; everyone is nice and very helpful 2. Well Managed Firm - everything is organized, people perform their roles well, I have worked for bigger accounting firms and they were not as organized as YPTC. 3. Great Leadership/ Great Tone from the top - Eric and Jennifer promote the great culture of the firm. 4. Great for those seeking Work Life Balance
Cons
1. Compensation may seem low on paper because it is based on 35 hour week but YPTC pay OT hours. The compensation is competitive if you consider OT pay. 2. Controllers' official title is "Associate" - this may not matter to others but in my opinion, does not match role, 3. Not much interaction with other staff in the firm since most of the work is direct with clients. The firm try their best to conduct happy hours and staff meetings. 4. No path to be Partner or Principal - not sure if this has been updated now.
