Pros
I have been with YPYTC for over 12 years, first doing Controller work for nonprofits and now as a manager. It is a wonderful company with caring leadership and colleagues who are true team players. The work is incredibly fulfilling and it is a great place for accountants who want to use their skills to help nonprofits fulfill their missions. The firm's partners absolutely practice what they preach: the company culture values integrity, quality work, education, and community engagement. They have an "open door" policy and are always open to feedback, questions, etc. The training we receive at all levels, and both for technical skills and personal development, are incredibly helpful in ensuring we stay at the top of our game. There are great benefits, competitive pay, probably the best vacation policy in the business, and plenty of other perks that demonstrate how valued employees are. YPTC is a best place to work across the board.
Cons
The work is fast-paced and dynamic, which I find to be requisite in any job, though some find this difficult to manage.
