      Pros

      They focus on quality and that is very important. The staff is fairly well trained and most people do what they're supposed to.

      Cons

      The managers are stationary. There is not a lot of Movement from managers so engineers who want to become managers have no chance internally. That will eventually be when I move out. I see no chance in improving my position outside of moving sideways.

      Pros

      ZF is a global company and it values employees with international experience and skills. Hence, it is a good platform for those with international experience to develop further. MyZF is easy to use and reduces much administrative time for employees. "Gleichzeit" is also very good. No companies can be perfect and at ZF, employees can feel that ZF tries its best to improve from time to time.

      Cons

      I have worked at different locations in the ZF, ZF Shanghai, ZF Friedrichshafen and now ZF Saarbrücken. Even though ZF system is uniform within Germany, the training opportunities for employees differ across different locations and departments. For example, languages training. Sometimes, a department may lack enough budget to allow employees to receive adequate language courses. The working environment can also differ across different departments but sometimes owing to work nature. It would be much

      - Great place to work at. of course, it differs from one person to another; however, the combination of engineer's personality and the supervisor makes a difference in judgment. - A lot of knowledgeable people - Great growth potential
