Pros
ZIM has a slogan called 'The Z Factor' which is all about what sets this company apart and makes us an outstanding shipping line for our customers. But this company is definitely set apart and outstanding in how they treat their employees. I have been with ZIM for 3 years now and have had a wonderful experience. Every one of my managers have been supportive, helpful, knowledgeable, caring, and kind. The leadership at ZIM consistently makes a concerted effort to ensure their employees are heard, recognized, and appreciated. This is a great place to work!
Cons
There are very few complaints I would have about ZIM. Really only two come to mind. The first is that it can be difficult sometimes to get people in different departments on the same page, but I think that is understandable. The second is a bigger, broader worldview conflict that I think I would have with most companies today. Because I am a Christian, my beliefs about what is right and wrong and what should be promoted and not promoted are different than most people in America today, including most companies.
