there are no pros in working at zoll.

Cons

Most under-qualified management ever. VP's are manager level and managers are even worse. No growth. Paid lowest in comparison to other medical device companies in Pittsburgh area. Managers attend meetings and make decisions with no knowledge of impact downstream. Managers are merely paper pushers at best.

Pay is the ONLY good here. Overtime if you don't have home life

Management. The managers I've dealt with have no background in management. They micro manage and constantly look over my shoulder checking my work. I've done this for over 20 yrs. and certainly know what I'm doing. I come to to work and do my job and am constantly criticized. Maybe I'm to old? Idk but I can't wait to leave this company. Again, working here is a terrible experience. I don't recommend this company to anyone!!

Pros

Good if you want some medical sales experience on resume. Salary plus commission is ok in the short term.

Cons

Sales quota increases every month regardless of situation. Company does not give you time to build territory. Once you get behind quota, you can't make money. Doctors and patients get very upset at patient cost for device due to lack of insurance coverage. Even if you get physician to prescribe device, many patients refuse device or can't afford device. Two years is a long time for a rep to stay with this company. That should tell you something.
