Very very inexperienced management who are looking to protect themselves. It was common to have extremely lofty goals be set, but the company and management wasn't prepared to spend the resources or manage the implications of the direction. Arbitrary decisions and mis-managed responsibilities and objectives makes it a frustrating work environment, and there is no process and milestones are therefore always black and white. One is never explicitly told to do anything unethical, but just "get the job done", with only one known path. Management and products are not respected by physician customers or general community.

Promotion within is limited. The position you are hired for is where you will likely stay. The top performers often carry the rest of the employees and advancement is politics not performance. Management is aloof, uncaring and Cliquish. As the company grows and the workload increases, the turnover rate grows with it. AGAIN: Turnover is very high and great employees are leaving. In some departments 70% rate over the past year. This hurts the morale of the backbone employees of the company. The corporate culture is such that anything goes regarding performance/attendance. If something doesn’t change in the internal structure of departments the problems will continue to grow.
