      Pros

      Lots of smart people. Lots of good resources. You will know if you like it in the first two months. Established company with resources that will help you if you utilize them well.

      Cons

      Hired too fast. Weird culture. Too much of a one trick pony. Not enough intellectual stimulation.

      Pros

      Friendly and super-smart people, interesting client work, great work-life balance for consulting, minimal long-distance travel, immediate access to clients, exposure to multiple projects at once which introduces more variety into your work, huge emphasis on people and culture, very collaborative and collegial environment

      Cons

      Multiple projects at once can be a double edged sword if they're with 2 different managers (but this falls on you to manage expectations), long periods of time on the computer and sitting (but this comes with the territory in any consulting firm), lots of variety available but sometimes you can get stuck in one thing by virtue of having done a lot of it in the past, so you need to proactively manage this
