      Pros

      Profitable and growing company in telecom! That is a welcome scenario. Tremendous # of opportunities - both internal roles as well as customer/expansion projects Adding people as much as possible to keep up with growth Employees are friendly and hard working - willing to help each other out

      Cons

      Very intense environment where deadlines are aggressive (almost unreasonable). Everyone knows the importance of moving quickly but people can only do so much in a day. Systems and processes are evolving but struggling to keep up with business. A little more structure in some areas is needed to make us more efficient and productive. Benefits package is evolving and needs to keep pace with other offerings in the area.

      Pros

      Constant challenges and opportunities to develop your own skills but also to contribute directly to the success of the company. Great teammates to work with and management is always open to suggestions for improvement. A forward moving company full of forward moving people, the energy is addictive!

      Cons

      Since the company is growing so steadily, there is much work to be done. This is not a 9-5 coasting job.

      Pros

      Most of the people who survive here are actually really nice and hard working smart indivuals. Great Boulder location, though highly expensive and wasteful in an environment without 401K match or annual raises. "In it together" attitude amongst employees.

      Cons

      -I am NOT surprised by the cluster of 4 and 5 star reviews. There is a big push from my management to post on Glassdoor (see responses on Glassdoor to understand how weird Zayo is). If you have constructive criticism on Glassdoor and have the guts to express it, be prepared for a rambling note from top management offering the bottom line answer: "you suck, you are not a good fit, you should just quit.". So tired of seeing or hearing "maybe you're not a fit for Zayo". I have invested my life in Zayo just as much as the CEO has invested his life. I'm sure he or whoever is writing for him will respond that his time and his life are much more valuable than mine, but I can assure you that my family does not think so. -All employees work hard and deserve our pay and equity. It's not a gift, quit acting like it is. -Lots of favoritism, flexibility and time off if you are associated with the BullPen or a "friend".
