- Good location. - Okay salary. - Kitchen stocked with food, beer, and soft drinks. - Good team camaraderie. - Highly educated and talented software engineers.
Cons
- Highly dysfunction management lead by former software engineers that lack good communication skills or how to address developers needs or concerns. - Authoritarian-like leadership where developers can't express concerns without be interrupted or shutdown. - C-level management is often scared to speak up or push back in protecting the platform and the teams. - Unavailable product management team members making platform decisions not understanding the implications. - Dysfunctional platform with tons of potential. That's the sad part. It could be so great!
