Pros

-Team members are smart and collaborative -Overall great work/life balance -Manager treated me like an adult who got their work done -Opportunity to learn and grow on the company's dime -Good pay and benefits

Cons

-Considered a tech company but lacked the innovation and forward momentum of a company that can take bigger risks -Company caters primarily to other businesses and wealthy individuals, which is fine, just not my thing -Management is cumbersome and kills many innovative ideas with rounds of reviews -Strict staffing rules to the point where they won't consider engineers without FAANG experience, but also won't pay top salary prices. Leaving the company with many open roles they can't seem to fill.

-Benefits, remote, PTO, can expense phone/office/gym

Cons

- Ageism at its finest. The org has deteriorated since last year when there was a change of roles and managers due to yet another reorganization and layoff. We are doing double the work for a reduction in pay. -After the 3rd mass layoff it remained pure chaos. They reduced our salary/eliminated our bonus to then give us stock/RSU’s that are ONLY worth something if we stay a few years, and IF the stock price increases. Management was not sympathetic and SKIMMED OVER THE FACT that there was a pay decrease. We are seeing less money in our paycheck which is what matters to most employees. -Following the layoff of half the team one would think there would be opportunities for a pay increase or growth, not the case. -An unprofessional frat-house/sorority environment. Not inclusive. Limited opportunities for growth. - The annual review process doesn’t reward those who are working hard if you’re favored by manager.
