      First inside sales job in corporate: I'm spoiled

      Pros

      Great benefits, company always has food for employees, upbeat atmosphere, wear whatever you want to work, and overall not a very difficult job doing inside sales. The company has such a strong brand nationwide that it makes the entire job so easy. I truly believe that the only reason someone would leave the company would be because it were not a good personal fit, not because of the company itself.

      None that I can think of.

      Pros

      Awesome culture of mutual respect, team work, and growth. It's a place for both employees who have families and those who are just starting out their carriers and want to work hard and burn the midnight oil. Company still retains its startup culture and encourages openess

      Cons

      Can't really think of much.

      Thank you very much for your feedback. I'm really glad that you've had a good experience here. It's particularly cool to see that you think we have retained our "startup culture" - that's something which I work hard at, and it is difficult given our size. But it's important that we remain nimble and keep all the benefits of being a startup but also have the benefits of significant resources from being a big company. Trying to get the best of both worlds, and I think we're doing a good job at it.

      Pros

      You get to work with amazing people. No lack of fascinating problems to solve. Help to revolutionize a massive industry at a company that is still in growth mode.

      Cons

      Many departments seem constantly understaffed. Base salary could be higher for tech positions but benefits(except still no 401k Match, come on) and stock are great.

      LOL - thank you for the shout-out. Much appreciated. I'm glad you're having a good experience at Zillow, especially since you're an old-timer (more than 3 years)! I agree that many departments are constantly understaffed. We seem to have a never-ending flow of open positions (currently about 100), especially in Dev and Sales. It can be frustrating that we can't get as much done as we'd like because we just don't have the people to get it all done. This is a high-class problem, but it's still a problem, and one that I am constantly working with Recruiting to try to solve...
