      Pros

      Medical, dental, 401(k) match. Some great people.

      Cons

      Because of its location, cannot attract talented individuals. Most middle managers do not add value. Create a manager review questionnaire every year that will provide VPs with the results. There are many ways our company can improve, and removing unnecessary middle managers ("Yes men/women") will go a long way. Internal promotions are dime a dozen and usually go to people who are their manager's drinking buddy. Retention is low.

      Pros

      Great company to work for. There is opportunity to learn many new skills. You will need seniority built up for several years if you want on 1st shift. Many benefits and usually have a large company picnic at either Cedar Pointe or Kings Island. Being a multi billion dollar company has advantages for benefits and free gifts.

      Cons

      They use to have a very generous pay scale that would allow you to top out within 5 years. Now you get less than a dollar an hour raise for even top performers. I was told i would be paid based on my experience, then found out I was making the same as the guy next to me that had no experience. They so far have not corrected this issue and those like me are on the back burner. Even with being a large company, we constantly run out of tooling and material. Changes are slow or not followed up on.

      The culture between GM and employees was terrible. The GM was never involved, except for how you get paid. Very dishonest and deceiving structure. Corporate never checks in so they can get away with it. Highl
