Great opportunity to learn essential people skills and prioritization. Autonomy was also a plus.

Cons

It’s retail healthcare. At the end of the day, most decisions were made with dollar signs at the forefront. Workload for Associates was massive, with additional tasks regularly being pushed on you when staffing was short (which was OFTEN). While it’s a good opportunity to get exposure to patient care for those looking at applying to nursing/PA school, upward mobility within the company is basically nonexistent for Clinic Associates. Do not plan on staying long term if you have career goals.
