Pros

-You have the choice between a chair or a blow up ball to sit on. -The HR department is determined to make Zozi look like a great place to work. It should be obvious to anyone reading these reviews which are from former employees and which ones are from HR trying to give Zozi a higher rating. -Management is full of great salespeople. Every time you are ready to update your resume and go to a real company, management is able to talk you out of it and continue working for their quasi company.

Cons

-Dont be fooled by the "adventure travel" image Zozi tries to portray, it is still just a Groupon knockoff deal site, and as everyone should know by now this is a broken business model and not an advisable space to enter. -If you are actually a sporty, outdoors, adventure seeking individual, dont go to Zozi. The site might sell some of these kinds of activities, but few employees actually live this lifestyle, and those who do have a hard time doing so with the limited PTO approvals and below industry standard wages. -Management: From the C level executives to the lowest management there has virtually no prior experience in management. Everyone is learning on the fly. Upper management is rarely in the office and no one is ever quite sure where they are. Some live in NYC for some reason instead of SF where Zozi is headquartered and use their "business trips" to SF as a party vacation. -High turnover: If you look at the holiday picture Zozi has posted on its Glassdoor profile of its employees, only a few of those people are still there. Literally only a few. The turnover is incredibly high by either layoffs, firing, or people quitting.

Pros

The peers that you work with are amazing.

Cons

Your managers don't have your back. They are very fake! Once someone in management decides that they don't like you, it becomes their goal to single you out when ever possible and make you look bad. I don't know who's been writing all these awesome reviews, because everyone at ZOZI is trying to find a job somewhere else. Work life balance in non existent. For being an adventure and outdoors company, you get chastised if you don't work till 8 pm on weekdays, and put in hours on the weekend. God forbid you decide to take a vacation. ZOZI's version of unlimited PTO means that you are encouraged to take no time off, and you don't get paid out on PTO that you don't use. If you want to work for a company where you managers act like they are your friends, so that they can use personally disclosed information against you, than ZOZI is the place for you.

Pros

Incredible team of All-Star employees at ZOZI. Tremendous energy, positive attitudes and strong work ethics are the norm at ZOZI. There is a very collaborative approach to the challenges we face to build our business. The office culture is very supportive, super fun and creates an atmosphere where people work hard and achieve incredible things.

Cons

Like with more start ups, everyone wears many hats and is involved across different departments and initiatives. This leads to longer hours for those truly invested in their work at ZOZI. Managing work/life balance can be challenging when you are on a team of people who love what they do and are committed to working very hard.
