Pros

Your fellow employees. We were like family and a good team working together. Lots of knowledge from years of experience and support from fellow colleagues, not management.

Cons

Treated by management as though we were incompetent, unnecessary and a bother to be dealt with. The knowledge we had was not appreciated. Have read numerous other reviews and they are accurate in poor management and a company that has been in business for over a hundred years being destroyed in 5-6 years once Rexnord took over. One in a line of others they have closed. Cannot stress enough how poor management is. Turnover is a constant issue.

Pros

This is very difficult because its so poorly run at the site level. I would say the salary is average and 401K is average.

Cons

Twinsburg division is poorly run and is a shadow of its former self. Management is only concerned with having their own monetary gratification. They don't care about the success of the company anymore. The work load is so low that they laid off 2 senior employees a few months back. Its not about profitability or OTD its about redecorating and using management's own family members to do it. This company is sinking quick and needs corporate to step in before its to late. I really don't think at the rate of decline that this plant will be here in 3 years.

Pros

The only thing good about Rexnord is the match for the 401k. It was the only thing keeping me there but working there has become just ridiculous as they have more managers then regular workers. I think the last count was 59 but may well be into the 60's for vice presidents.

Cons

They keep making cuts into benefits for the people who do the most work that creates the product they sell. I'm very surprised that they haven't cut the 401k yet but I'm sure it's coming so I have nothing to stay there for.
