Pros

The work culture in Zynga, Bangalore is such that deadlines are taken as seriously as it should be - but at the same time, there is an understanding that people have lives beyond their work. The employees here, in general, are approachable and supportive. Also, diversity and inclusivity are not merely buzzwords here - there are active efforts to seek, as well as give opportunities to women who are interested in this field. As a woman, I feel supported, seen and heard here; which I think is the way it should be everywhere!

Cons

At present, I have no major complaints. The only concern I have is: sometimes short-term monetisation strategies seem to take precedence over long-term sustainability. But being more on the inexperienced side, there is a lot more I need to learn, to come up with a more informed perspective.

Pros

Good opportunity to work on large-scale systems and real-time gaming infrastructure. Talented engineering teams and collaborative work culture. Exposure to modern technologies and strong focus on product quality. Good learning opportunities for software engineers.

Cons

Workload can sometimes be high depending on the project deadlines. Decision making can be slow due to multiple management layers. Work-life balance may vary between teams.

Pros

A great place to work with a collaborative and inclusive culture where teams actively support one another. The company invests well in employee well-being and internal growth, and the perks are hard to beat — free food, snacks, and a fun dynamic environment where you're surrounded by the games you love. Management is professional and the overall workplace is one of the more polished in the industry.

Cons

The only downside is that working hours can get quite long, especially during release periods, which is something the company could work on for better long-term work-life balance.
