Pros

Relaxed work environment, great learning opportunity for students. Flexible work hours with school.

Cons

Kindle org works with relatively old and uninteresting technology and maintenance and deprecation. Constant restructuring means getting moved between projects frequently.

Great Internship Experience

Pros

Amazon has a great working environment in SLO. Between easy-to-walk-to lunch places and free bagels on Thursday, it's situated in the perfect location. Everyone there is pleasant and willing to help out with whatever problem you need, and there's never any pressure to work late hours and on weekends.

Cons

While it's a great internship experience during the summer when we get to work full time, it can be easy to fall behind and not feel like much progress is being made once school starts and we work less than 20hrs/week.
