Regarding the amount of meetings: Yes, there are times where there seem to be lots of meetings, but we all know that these are also very important. However, please make sure to speak to your team lead if you feel like some meetings are not entirely necessary and things may also be solved differently.       I experienced the worst quality of management here. In my opinion, this is a place for those like staying in their comfort zone. They want pleasers, not challengers. From joining uninvited calls, "who is your boss?" threats to sharing my private info with others without my consent, there are a number of red flags about their low work ethics. I think the real problem is the environment where people allow these behaviors from leaders. Yet, they call you "friend" and "family". I found it creepy. No diversity. They think it only means nationalities. They may look family friendly but it doesn't mean they accept other lifestyles. Not a place for LGBTQ, for example. No inclusion. There is a hierarchy between roles and teams. Some groups have more power, making decisions without insight or proper research, not listening to experts, ignoring others ownership. They keep making wrong decisions based on their gut feelings and narrow views. Some work during sick leave. It won't happen if a truly good employer. Also, I don't believe such work have good quality and true care for customers. I am very happy to be out now.

I am very sorry to hear that you experienced your time at commercetools in this way. This is absolutely not the culture we built or mindset we stand for. We are working hard to ensure we invest in managers and leaders who allow and encourage their teams to continuously challenge thoughts and ideas so we will in fact not stay in the comfort zone but strive to improve and grow as a company but also personally. I am particularly sorry to hear about your feelings in regards to diversity and inclusion as well as feeling commercetools is not a place for LGBTQ. We built our company culture on trust and openness and want our colleagues to feel safe at commercetools in every way, professionally and personally.       - Great work culture - Up to date tech stack - Organized team structure and good communication between product and engineering

      honestly none at all had a great time working there only left due to change of location
