      * Genuinely amazing coworkers who care about each other * Interesting engineering challenges (and structured finance is a fascinating biz domain) * Proven, diversified business model that seems to do better and better every year * Solid comp

      Cons

      *The company has been successful, and grown quite a bit, so some of the small-company vibes are fading. *The company spent a lot of money on a phenomenal office in Flatiron in 2019 -- but COVID prevented us from enjoying it for very long.

      Pros

      Company has paying clients with a stable product. Engineer-centric work environment is refreshing. Management strives to find everyone interesting work to be a part of. They will choose tech stacks heavily based on engineer interest or recommendation. It's nice having a voice like that. Top tier benefits including an Equinox gym membership and commuter benefits! Work life balance is healthy too. The CEO is extremely transparent about everything from valuation to equity compensation to cap raises. Makes the company feel like everyone's.

      Cons

      It's hard to hire senior engineers in this market, so the distribution of experience at dv01 is a little toward the newbie side. It would be nice to have more senior engineers to go to for say perspective and design.

      Pros

      Really good perks, including free meals during the week and unlimited snacks and drinks. Product is gaining traction and has a solid sense of purpose and future. Really relaxed culture that emphasizes quality but also gives you leeway to go workout during the day and take time off when needed. Enjoyable coworkers who are talented at what they do. Commuter and HSA accounts.

      Cons

      Mentorship can be a bit lacking. The company is definitely scrappy in some parts and a solid structure for mentorship and learning is not in place. Employee growth opportunity is definitely there but often times it isn't clear what needs to be improved, etc.
