Brand recognition; the auction site is a great "equalizer" for mom-and-pop sellers against bigger companies on the web; great people - smart, passionate, caring; great corporate value, which are: (1) Lead Completely (2) Keep It Human (3) Trust One Another (4) Practice Judgment

Cons

Long hours; low base pay - compensation based on model when the company stock was returning 20% or more per year; management a bunch of MBA gear heads who do not understand the business and rarely use the auction site

Pays well compare to other companies.

Cons

Too many layers of managers/exec, not enough people doing the work. It used to be a place where people can be innovative, but given how the company has been running in past couple of years, it's a place with too many problems incurred from the past and no time to think ahead.

eBay is a large corporations that has a lot of resources to get the job done. There're often a multitude of projects in the pipeline and each is aimed to build a better e-Commerce experience for consumers. Everyone is focused to make a better eBay.

Cons

Each project requires a slow, tedious, and often a repetitive review process that bogs down workflow. Oftentimes, projects go in circles and things don't get resolved until the last minute.
