There is a supreme lack of leadership and vision from the upper management at this company. The C-level executives expect that to come from the people below making 100k while they take home large paychecks. They do not take any responsibility for the lack of forethought and dysfunction within the company. They do not lead by example, promote within the organization or inspire their workers. They motivate through shaming and have very little interest in getting to know the people below that work for them. They could really care less.
