Very disappointed

Pros

Base pay + commissions. Fun people to work with.

Cons

Leads are funneled to certain agents who manage to keep doing unethical things to get sales but keeps getting praised for them. The leads are terrible yet agents are expected to perform miracles to get sales. You address your concerns to management and get the weirdest answers, if you get an answer at all. The ads sent out to already confused and overwhelmed senior citizens are very misleading. The compensation plan keeps changing. Just any and every way to avoid giving agents the money they earned. You work hard and do your best just to walk away with crumbs. It’s so unfair and very discouraging.

Pros

Great benefits compared to most competitors.

Cons

Terrible leadership from the top down. They will be the first ones to point blame without looking within. For being in the people business, the lack of emotional investment in comical.

I'm sorry to hear that your experience at eHealth is less than ideal, particularly that you don't feel supported by leadership. We provide a lot of training and guidance for our leaders at all levels and continue to increase our investment with them so hopefully that helps address your concern. I appreciate your feedback, we'll use it to continue to improve. ~Bob

Another month with no commission.

Pros

None at all. The management team here is a joke.

Cons

Outside of the Enrollment window there is no commission. I have been paid three commission checks in the past year. There are agents in this company that did not make 5 sales this hole month. If you are ok with $20 an hour, go for it. But don't believe the lies of these children trying to run a business.

Sorry to read of your frustrations on your commissions. While we regularly evaluate our compensation plans to ensure we're doing what's right for our employees, customers, and the business, this past year we also created a new position solely focused on Sales Compensation to further ensure we remain competitive. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. ~Bob
