Pros

You'll build resilience fast, largely because you're left to figure everything out on your own. A few brilliant people are trying to hold things together behind the scenes, but most don’t last or are terminated.

Cons

Toxic culture, top to bottom: The organization rewards sycophants over experts. If you're competent but honest, you're a threat. If you play the game and say the right things, even if you lack the skills, you'll get promoted. Psychological safety is nonexistent. People are pitted against each other, burned out, and thrown under the bus regularly. Political maneuvering is the real job. Public-facing culture is a facade. Internally, it’s chaos masked with buzzwords like “innovation” and “self-management,” but most decisions come from the top in reactive waves. Operational dysfunction: Strategic planning is ignored until it becomes an emergency. Long-term thinkers are seen as barriers to speed, even when the “speed” leads to constant rework. No accountability: Poor performers are protected if they’re politically aligned. Meanwhile, teams who deliver results are under-resourced and pushed to exhaustion. Agents vs. Employees divide: Agents are treated like royalty, while employees, who build the infrastructure and hold the business together, are dismissed as overhead. Until Glassdoor separates agent reviews from employee reviews, the overall rating will never reflect the true internal experience. Stay far away

Pros

Working from home was good

Cons

-Lack of proper training -Mentorship program where most agents take advantage of new agents lack of experience. Anyone can be a mentor basically as long as you got like 3 sales. I don't like the fact that 30% of the first three deals have to be given away to the mentor on top of the 20% that's being taken by the company

Pros

eXp is an awesome company to work for! Working from home is fantastic for convenience and saving on gas money, not worrying about a commute, but most importantly the staff is fantastic. My managers above me are wonderful and so helpful and great to work with. eXp offers great benefits as well, and I feel like we are truly cared about.

Cons

I cannot think of any!
