The relationships I developed with not only certain HR staff members, but staff in other various departments. There were some truly great co-workers.
Cons
As a former employee in Human Resources, I was aware of many situations and practices that took place that were/are unacceptable. While I was there and since I have left, the turnover in the HR department alone is astronomical. The company is now working on their 3rd CHRO in about 2 years time. Human Resources has the highest turnover out of any department but it all goes unseen and the changes are swept under the rug. They control the narrative. My advice to current staff is be very careful who you speak to in HR. If you unknowingly say the wrong thing, it could be your career. For a company that states it is successful in large part by the connections that are made with their agents/employees, they are awfully eager to replace humans with an AI Chatbot. Where is the personal touch in that?
