      Company isn't what it used to be

      Unlimited PTO, 2pm Fridays, Work/Life Balance, Great non-SLT members, remote work

      Cons

      Pay, career development, management, tense/unstable environment The only people that matter in this company are the SLT members and those right under, everybody else is expendable. There is little to no collaboration or teamwork involved and a very blurry sense of direction. Senior leadership clearly doesn’t know what they’re doing as they rebranded the company multiple times in the past couple of years, resulting in multiple sets of lay offs. Their products are becoming very stale and underperforming, just look at the reviews of their programs... Low pay, average benefits, no job security and zero to no growth opportunities but hey you get off at 2pm on Fridays…Stay Away

      Nothing Special/Worried for their future

      Pros

      Been at Clarus for a while, experienced a lot while there, but here are my over arching thoughts... If you get a great manager who's focus is all about your career growth you will enjoy working there. But they are few and far between. Client services team is the strongest team they have with a lot of growth opportunties- highly recommend Clarus if you want to go into that field.

      Cons

      - Poor decisions in the past few years from leadership- went on a hiring frenzy, acquired a new company and then laid 1/3 of the workforce recently. - High turnover rates due to poor management -Brings outside politics to work environment -Pay and benefits not anything out of the ordinary from other companies -Lost the positive culture they once had after Covid hit -Several departments are toxic, gossipy and have cliques. -Lack of diversity in thought. The ones who are the decision makers or have a voice all think the same and have for years. -Rely on the same strategies and ways of doing things for too long, not keeping up with the ever changing ecommerce market. Worried for the long term longevity of this company if nothing drastic changes.

      Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We understand you may be feeling negatively as a result of the company layoff a month ago. We did have to make the hard decision to exit the promotions agency business and focus exclusively on the loyalty business which did result in layoffs. However, the loyalty and direct businesses are very healthy and will continue to drive profitable business in the future. Additionally, although we did see an increase in turnover rate for a time as did many other companies, we saw that level out and will continue to look for ways to implement suggestions made that we find will continue to build culture. Thank you for your feedback and suggestions.

      Unlimited PTO, medical that starts right away

      Cons

      Incompetent CEO. Doesn't even know how to view forecasts/ Financials. Over hired then did mass lay off of 150 people. Some people laid off their first week starting there.

We encourage our employees to participate in quarterly town hall meetings where company financials and results are discussed in detail. We hope that you felt that level of transparency was helpful in understanding the difficult decisions we had to make in order to secure the positive growth path we are now on.
