Pros
Most of the regular employees are in similar circumstances to yours, so you all can relate to each other's struggles in this company. The offices are pretty nice, too.
Cons
I can agree with most if not all of the reviews written regarding Gamigo. During my stay here I have encountered: - Abusive management, some of whom actually obstructed the work of other employees just because they didn't like them and gave preferential treatment to others. A specific manager comes to mind here. If you come in here with the hope to fix this place up, you might just end up being another person to be chewed out and spat out. - Adding to the above: cases of C-Level nepotism also affect recruitment. - Ineffective HR that would rather sweep things under the rug rather than fix issues with the company's abusive managers. There were cases of COVID outbreaks in the office that no one in that day was informed about despite possible contact. - Insensitive comments, including made by the COO who found it appropriate to joke about us having to fill in our home office hours for their external initiative "or else the company will get fined and we don't want a repeat of March, do we?" (March being the month of massive unannounced lay-offs that even many affected managers had no knowledge of). From my colleagues I have also heard claims of inappropriate comments and misogyny from other C-Levels. - False promises, e.g. training was announced at the end of 2021 "to be discussed in January"; in January it was postponed to next All-Hands. Next All-Hands conveniently forgot about it until 8+ months later after a massively negative employee satisfaction survey went around - which also has been taking multiple months to interpret. - Little learning opportunities. No place for upward feedback, no scheduled 1:1s outside of a performance assessment. I have spoken to many people who have already left the company and my sentiments are shared with them.
