Things are steadily going downhill

Pros

Good benefits, unlimited pto, extra holidays. Also great coworkers

Cons

The company has been steadily going downhill since Vista acquired them. It went from a great culture and fun work hard play hard environment to a totally different atmosphere. Processes make no sense and change every few months. They made lots of cuts to service areas and then wonder why customers are upset and leaving. The turnover in sales and service has been out of control. Then the ones left are so overwhelmed they end up leaving too. This is a cutthroat work culture where they do not care about employees Also don’t believe the positive reviews, as most are written by new employees during onboarding, when the rose colored glasses are still on

Pros

Healthcare benefits, 401k matching, unlimited PTO, Office Space

Cons

CEO Steve Lucas, Executive leadership, Vista Equity Partners, Middle-management, High Turnover rate, Work/Life Balance, No paid overtime, High Churn rate, Company Culture, Department Communication, Product Direction. Be careful with how much stock you put into the high rated reviews on here. The company made it an Onboarding requirement for new hires to leave a Glassdoor review during their first 90 days. iCIMS is a shell of its former self. It once was a NJBiz top 10 place to work, however Vista Equity Partners purchased the company in 2018 and has done everything to run it into the ground. They are living off of the good reputation that the original owners built, and only investing in things that make their bottom line look better. This is exactly what groups like Vista are known for doing. Purchasing companies, fattening them up with cash to make the reported ARR look great to a potential buyer, then they flip it. They literally just did this with Wrike in January 2021. Beware of applying here. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Pros

Only pro is they are in a nice building.

Cons

The list of cons far outweigh the pros. Don't believe the positive reviews, the majority of them come through as people are ENCOURAGED to write them when or shortly after they are hired. Great strategy, to artificially inflate their ratjng. Here are some cons. Micromanagement - to a degree that is stifling Culture - company values are non existent. Turnover - the attrition rate is very high, means most people are overworked because of the revolving door of employees. If this place was great, people would stay. Strategy - goal is to be sold, all decisions are made to meet this goal. That at often times leads short sighted and bad decisions. Politics - run rampant with lots of talk behind people's backs. In a nutshell this company died when Vista bought them. There are much better places to work. Don't make a mistake, stay far away from this place.
