Pros

I worked at iCIMS just shy of three years. It was (IS for the job seeker) an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G place to work! Why so amazing? The culture, employees and customers. The C-Team and Managers are always two steps "ahead of the game" to ensure the customer and employee experiences are second-to-none. iCMS provides an extensive onboarding process, dedicating an entire team to ensure you are successful. It doesn't stop there, they also provide professional development classes throughout your career with them. Meaningful classes with a great group of trainers. They also provide fantastic health/dental/vision and ancillary benefits, 401K and true life work balance. They are passionate about green initiatives and so much more. While iCIMS is a heavily metric driven company, I was always rewarded for doing the right thing by the customer, never "chasing a metric." I was valued for who I was as an individual and recognized as a contributor to the team and beyond. If you are interested in working for iCIMS be sure to do your research. Especially when it comes to the core values. Important tip to job seeker: If you can provide examples of these values regarding your current job or career path goals during your interview, that would be helpful to the hiring managers. Don't just research and provide examples, but also tell how you will live by them at iCIMS. Culture and core values is so very important. Good luck. Some additional pros being a employee of iCIMS: Not traveling to NYC on mass transit each and every day Once a month social to mingle with other departments and share what you are working on and more. Bagel Friday's! Believe me it is so nice to come in and have fresh bagels/fruit and more Refreshing and healthy drink choices in the cafe that they provide free of charge to employees. They put their money where their mouth is when it comes to being green! Dedicating 16 hours for each employee to do something GREEN a year with the company. e.g. Park clean up, beach sweep... Never really had the "Sunday Blues"

Cons

A handful of employees run to the beat of their own drums. Just don't play well in the sandbox or represent the core values. I know this happens everywhere, but since core values and culture are so important at times required me to work harder and took me away from meaningful work.

Pros

Great story. There is such vitriol for Oracle and IBM it's keep it simple we are not them and here's why.

Cons

The C-Suite has no experience. It's not the best survive it's the liked survive. They ignore the premise of work hard play hard. It's a want to be start up but doesn't feel anyone is worth an equity stake. The compensation plan is about as off as off can be and they have laser focus on only the top getting rich they don't want to acknowledge its the team that will get them rich. A lot of lip service. "Tell us if management is failing you." That's an I dare you. The COO is a fish out of water. He was given sales leadership responsibilities yet has no sales pedigree. It's damning to the individual contributors. He leads by calling people out and sends emails that are negative energy and feel "let's do it!!!!! At the end is motivating. Leadership needs to open up the circle and they never will. Once you are out of the circle of trust you are out.

Pros

Being an intern at iCIMS was one of the greatest experiences I had during college. The marketing team treats each intern like a full-time employee and includes their interns in all meetings, collaboration sessions, and celebrations. I was held to high expectations and had a ton of hands-on experience with sales and marketing platforms like Salesforce and Pardot. This was a paid internship and the pay was much higher than other companies that were on my radar.

Cons

The marketing teams are held to very aggressive goals which often affected the behaviors of the coordinators. It definitely is a high-stress environment but they make up for that with the monthly socials and incentives. Seems like the work-life balance could be adjusted a bit. There are too many people in the department who work more than 40 hours a week and are not compensated for that.
