Pros

The culture is really hip and cool and the people have been outstanding so far. The monthly socials, bagel Fridays and casual dress go along way to making it a great place to work but it really comes down to the collaborative work environment for me. Great team environment. The work is challenging and I feel like there is room to grow which feels awesome.

Cons

Fast pace that keeps you guessing as they are rapidly growing which isn't a con for me as I am used to but might not be right for all. Must be willing to be agile and flexible and willing to adapt. Growing quickly so not all processes are in place yet but good thing is they are willing to put them in place and stand behind Kaizen as a leading principle so that they are also looking things to do away with as well which is pretty cool.

Pros

Working remotely is great. The sales management team is amazing. They are true mentors, coaches and leaders - not just "do as I say" or "I'll do it for you." They do strive to teach and want to see their team members not just hit but exceed their goals. It's collaborative environment and I really enjoy all the people I work with across all of the departments.

Cons

iCIMS is growing pretty quickly and change is inevitable. If you're looking for a steady pace, this isn't the right place for you. Remote employees, within certain roles, unless you're willing to relocate to NJ, you really don't have much upward mobility.

Pros

The people are truly the best part of working at iCIMS. Had the opportunity to work with talented, collaborative, and supportive colleagues across teams, many of whom genuinely care about their work and one another. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and the work-from-home flexibility is a strong positive that helps with work-life balance.

Cons

Unfortunately, the company culture is overshadowed by ongoing and frequent layoffs. I've personally experienced multiple rounds of layoffs, which created a persistent sense of instability and uncertainty. Even high-performing teams are not immune, making it difficult to feel secure or plan long-term. Leadership direction also changes rapidly. There is a pattern of leadership “jumping the gun” on strategic shifts in an effort to stay ahead of competitors, often without clear long-term planning or consistency. This results in frequent pivots, shifting priorities, and reactive decision-making that can be disruptive to teams and morale. The combination of repeated layoffs and rapidly changing direction has significantly impacted employee confidence in the company’s future under current leadership.
