Pros

- mostly a great team of smart, great to work with software engineers/product managers/ux designers in the digital org - good opportunity to learn the ins and outs of working on a large, complex application - mostly good WLB

Cons

- leadership still genuinely believes that terrestrial radio will stay relevant long term - lack of investment in scaling the digital organization to support the company's goals of keeping up with competitors - instead, platitudes such as "operate like a startup" are thrown around - getting a raise is basically impossible - 401k match paused for years post-pandemic - product decisions made on the whims of upper management, WLB thrown to the wind when CEO has app ideas

Pros

Nice people who mostly were miserable! Enjoyed people on my team. It used to be fun before iHeart took over.

Cons

They do not care about their employees. Went 10 years without a raise, Company stopped 401K matches twice. Outsourced jobs to India and it is an unmitigated disaster … and the few of us who survived got more work. Decided to retire early after 28 years. Not one local senior management person bothered to send me a note after saving the company millions in sales errors over the years. Loving retirement.
